Provide effective human resources management (HRM) that facilitates and supports SA's mission, values, and vision.
 
Vision
Ensure continuous HRM improvement; stay abreast of innovations in HRM; implement strategic HRM innovations that add value; ensure continuous learning in the HRM disciplines for SA's HRM managers.
 
SA HR Forum
The HR Forum is composed of Student Affairs Human Resource Managers who meet monthly to discuss human resource management issues. The work of the HR Forum is guided by the HR Forum Charter. 
 
Student Affairs Human Resource Initiatives
  • Leadership Development Institute (LDI)
    The LDI is a core competency-based leadership development program, initially designed by Residential and Student Services Programs (RSSP) staffs and Mariposa Leadership consultants, to promote the professional growth and development of SA’s current and future leadership. Skills and knowledge learned through LDI will assist participants with navigating today's constantly changing and challenging work environment. Applications due Friday, Sept 7th, 2007. More info...

  • Informal Dispute Program (IDRP)
    This program is currently being developed. It will provide SA employees with an informal mechanism to address conflict that arises between and among staff. SA staff will be recruited to be trained to serve as IDRP facilitators.
