Sponsored by the ECMC Foundation and developed by the Center for Educational Partnerships at the University of California, Berkeley Realizing the College Dream is a course and workshop guide for students and their parents conveying the value of higher education and the financial aid opportunities available. The guide includes 10 lessons that can be used in a variety of settings (classroom, after-school, Saturday programs, informal educational settings) and are geared for students as well as parents, family members, community college students and other adult learners. Instructional strategies are hands-on and interactive, with the lessons aligned with national curriculum standards in writing, mathematics, social studies, or technology.
