RESOURCES
Cal recognizes the commitment of time and effort made by faculty and staff who choose to serve as advisors and provides an assortment of resources for those advisors. The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership Programs and its staff are available for consultation. The staff has years of experience in organizational management, co-curricular activities, and club management. They are knowledgeable about current legal activity involving clubs and organizations and about other resources available to advisors and their organizations.
The staff routinely conduct workshops open to all student and advisors involved with clubs and organizations. These range across a variety of topics including (and all offer specific tips and help related to Cal). An annual Leadership Symposium is held for student leaders. The Office also keeps a current database including constitutions and signatories for each current organization.
