To reserve a table for your group, choose one main contact for your organization to send the following information to looza@berkeley.edu.
* your student organization's full name (exactly as it is listed with the Center for Student Leadership - no acronyms please!)
* the contact person for your organization, with telephone and email address for the summer
* one or two words describing the theme of your group (i.e. pre-business, Asian interest, Muslim, creative arts, etc.)
* your organization's website address
* any special needs or requests, such as being placed by another organization-- Please note: We do not guarantee that we will be able to accommodate these requests.
Please submit only one reservation per group.
This year, only student organizations registered with the Center for Student Leadership during the 2007-2008 academic year will be eligible to table. All reservations will be checked against the student organization list; if your group does not appear on this list, it is your responsibility to provide printed proof of registration from the Center for Student Leadership before your reservation will be completed.
Reservation requests will be accepted through August 1, and are made on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified of whether or not you have a confirmed spot by August 13. Any organizations who do not initially receive a place at the event will automatically be placed on the waiting list, in the order in which their reservation request was received by New Student Services. As in previous years, Calapalooza hopes to accommodate over 200 student organizations this year.
Each confirmed organization will be provided with a table and two chairs. Unfortunately, we are unable to store and/or transport any materials for distribution to the event. Student organizations may not have displays or canopies that extend beyond their table.
If you have any questions about Calapalooza 2008, please contact Tina Jung, Calapalooza Director, at looza@berkeley.edu.
