The Vision is "A Renewed Society in Christ Through the Campuses" and the Mission is "Renewing Society Through Christ Through the Campuses." We have made it our mission to provide Christian peer support to as many students as possible. Network of Spiritual Progressives (NSP)

Purpose: The NSP is an international program interested in fostering a spiritual progressive movement in American culture. We intend to replace the selfishness and materialism that pervade society with an outlook based on kindness, generosity, non-violence, and acceptance. The NSP focuses on political, social, environmental, and faith-based arenas. One of its largest projects, that will be the student organization's main focus, is the Global Marshall Plan. The plan advocates pledging 1-2% of the Gross Domestic Product every year for the next 20 years to end global poverty and improve essential living conditions throughout the world. Essentially, the Network is an outlet in which compassion plays a leading part in healing and improving our universe. Participants can familiarize themselves with our vision of a Spiritual Covenant with America (www.networkofspiritualprogressives.org), specifically NSP's vision on Foreign Policy & Homeland Security.

Purpose: The Orthodox Christian Fellowship at U.C. Berkeley along with the Graduate Theological Union seeks to serve Orthodox Christian undergraduate and graduate students. Meeting regularly at the Orthodox Institute, members come together for Divine Liturgy, a community dinner, and discussion of theological, social and academic topics. Purpose: Reformed University Fellowship is a Christian fellowship comprised of Cal students, seeking to thoughtfully and respectfully communicate the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Through community, prayer, worship, and teaching, RUF endeavors to help students mature in their understanding of the Christian faith as expressed in the Reformed theological tradition. Though RUF is Presbyterian in affiliation, it welcomes students from all walks of life and religious backgrounds. The club and organization is founded on Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism that focuses on the individual’s ability to become Buddha’s, or enlightened individuals with the qualities of courage, compassion, wisdom, and life force.
