Timing

The time from the date the complaint is filed to the date a final resolution is achieved depends on the case. The Student Code of Conduct indicates that the Office of Student Conduct has 30 days after a complaint is filed to send a student a formal notice of charges. From the date the notice of charge was mailed to the charged student, OSC and the student generally have 45 days to resolve the case or a hearing is scheduled.
