Jonathan Poullard

Dean of Students Jonathan Poullard (aka "JP") is leading Campus Life and Leadership as it strives to become a key center on campus for student development and involvement. He wants to help build a holistic model for leadership development that will support students, connect them to each other and their communities, and serve the mission of the University and the Student Affairs Division to advance the learning and personal growth of students and enable them to lead and contribute to a diverse and global society.

JP has more than 20 years' experience in higher education student affairs, most recently at Cal State San Marcos, where he was the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. His work with college students has included a wide range of areas, including student government and student group advising, residential life, work with community organizations, student health and counseling services, LGBTIQ services and programs, student conduct, student retention programs, leadership development programs, advising for students in academic distress, and advocacy for students in a multicultural community.

Associate Dean of Students
Christina Gonzales

Christina has over ten years of broad experience working with students, staff and faculty.  Some areas of experience include student conduct, critical incident response, advocacy, academic advising, residence life, student health and counseling, student government advising, budget and human resources. 

In the role of Associate Dean of Students, Christina is responsible for providing strategic leadership for two student development functions:  the Center for Student Conduct and Community Standards, and Student Legal Services.

Alisha Parrish

Alisha Parrish received her Bachelors degree at Cal State University, Long Beach (CSULB) in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Communication Studies.  She earned her Master of Science Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Student Development in Higher Education at CSULB. Prior to Berkeley, she worked as a Resident Director at UC Santa Barbara and Program Coordinator in the College of Business at CSU Long Beach. 

Dedicated to serving students, Alisha worked at the Long Beach campus for more than six years with various departments and programs including the Residence Halls, Mentoring Business Program, and University Outreach and School Relations.
