| The Center for Student Leadership is proud to sponsor The Cal Student Leadership Symposium, a premier day-long student-coordinated leadership conference held on the UC Berkeley campus. Leadership Symposium brings together a diverse community of student leaders from colleges across California and as far away as Mexico to engage with and learn from faculty, staff, alumni, community members, and other students. Through workshops and networking opportunities, Leadership Symposium participants enhance their personal leadership development and learn skills that enable them to become agents of positive social change in their communities.
In 2010, this tradition of excellence continues as The Cal Student Leadership Symposium celebrates its tenth anniversary! This year’s theme, A Mosaic of Perspectives, highlights the Planning Committee’s dedication to recognizing the differences in our communities and the strength that these different perspectives represent.
Leadership Symposium highlights include:
• Over 40 diverse leadership program sessions facilitated by educators from across the Bay Area
• Workshops emphasizing personal leadership development, group development & engaged citizenship
• Nationally recognized speakers in the morning and at lunch
• Networking with 50+ Cal alumni representing an array of career fields
• Connecting with 500+ students from diverse colleges and universities, locally and internationally!
