Angela Kim
Coordinator, Student Musical Activities
Angela is the Coordinator for Student Musical Activities, assisting students in the Cal Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, BareStage and Choral and A Cappella groups. She has been in Berkeley for almost four years and has been a Blueprint coach for three of those years. She feels fortunate to be a part of this program, as it is one of her favorite parts of being here at Cal. Angela enjoys connecting with the members of our cohort and believes strongly that it is this part of Blueprint that makes this program so special.

Denise Yee
Curriculum Officer, Statistic Department
Denise hails from South San Francisco, CA and received her Bachelor of Arts in Asian American Studies and Math from UC Santa Barbara. After working in Stanford's undergraduate advising office for almost 4 years, she went back to school and earned her Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland, College Park. While attending Maryland, she advised Asian Pacific American student organizations and co-taught a class on APA Leadership. As the Course and Curriculum Officer in the Statistics Department here at Cal, she advises undergraduate students about the major, schedule courses, support faculty and course instruction, and plans special events like the departmental commencement ceremony.

Annalyn Cruz
Academic Program Coordinator, Office of Student Development
Annalyn is the Academic Program Coordinator with the Office of Student Development. She received her BA from UC Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!) and her Masters in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University. She is really excited to be a Blueprint coach this year and work with many of our Cal student leaders and activists.

Dennis Lyandres
Associate, BTI Group-Mergers and Acquisitions
Dennis Lyandres currently works as an Associate at BTI Group Mergers and Acquisitions, a leading mid-market advisory firm. He graduated Cal with highest general distinction (top 1% of his class). At BTI, he has worked on a variety of transactions in industries such as media and technology, consumer products, business services, and wineries. Combining his entrepreneurial drive with a strong conviction to give back to the community, Dennis is currently in the process of founding his own non-profit organization. His commitment to public service and leadership has won him numerous awards. His interests include strength and conditioning, yoga, college football, wine, journalism, and digital media.

Emmanuel Lopez
Academic Program Coordinator, Unit 2 Residence Hall
Emmanuel is the Academic Program Coordinator at Unit 2 and has been at Cal for 1 year now! He grew up in Turlock, the central valley, and completed his undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara. After realizing how much he enjoyed working with college students, he went back to school and earned a Master's in Education from UCLA. He looks forward to working with the Blueprint Program and the Cal Community.

Alexis Bucknam
Director of Student Programs, Blum Center for Developing Economies
Alexis is the Director of Student Programs at the Blum Center for Developing Economies where she serves as the primary administrator and advisor for the Global Poverty & Practice Minor housed in the International and Area Studies Teaching Program. Bucknam comes to the Blueprint program with a decade of experience in higher education with a particular focus on service-learning and student leadership. She earned a BS in Management from the University of Utah and MA in Education - Counseling in Student Affairs from UCLA.

Kara Hayman
Assistant Director of Admissions, Haas School of Business
Kara Hayman has a B.S. in Organizational Communication from Ohio University and an M.A. in Speech Communication from Colorado State University. Originally from Ohio, Kara has lived in the Bay Area for three years and has worked at Cal for the entire time. Kara has had several positions with the Full-time MBA Admissions office in the Haas School of Business and is now an Assistant Director of Admissions. She is in her first year as a Blueprint coach and is thrilled to be working with undergraduate students in a leadership capacity.

Heather Iwata
Admissions Coordinator, UC Berkeley School of Optometry
Heather is originally from Stockton, CA. She received her Bachelor's degree from UC Davis and Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Prior to becoming an Admissions Coordinator, Heather worked with Greek Life and Orientation Programs. Both of her parents attended UC Berkeley and is proud to join the family as a Golden Bear! GO BEARS!!!

Connie Chung
Student Leadership Coordinator, Center for Student Leadership
Connie is currently working on her senior thesis, a documentary film about the impacts of racialized beauty and eyelid surgery amongst Asian American women. She is also the director of the Vagina Monologues, a production aimed to empower and end violence against women. In between the madness of school and work, Connie loves to cook, eat and dance.
