Our goals:

• Provide educational outreach about issues facing and affecting the LGBTIQ community
  
• Provide LGBTIQ resource information to the campus community
  
• Maintain effective communication with all campus departments that have LGBTIQ programs to ensure coordination of program efforts
  
• Provide campus policy and leadership skills advising to Cal LGBTIQ student groups
  
• Plan and promote lectures, workshops and other events that raise awareness and increase understanding of LGBTIQ concerns
  
• Provide support to LGBTIQ students, faculty and staff — refer or advocate as appropriate
  
• Increase interaction between Cal LGBTIQ students and Cal LGBTIQ faculty, staff and alumni

To help achieve many of these goals, Billy Curtis, Coordinator, is available for confidential assistance pertaining to the numerous concerns facing LGBTIQ persons including but not limited to policy matters, coming out, transitioning, political issues and harassment. All students, faculty, staff and administrators are welcome regardless of sexual orientation and gender or sex identity.
