Read Information for Newly Admitted Students

You apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and listing UC Berkeley (federal school code: 001312) as one of your schools. The FAFSA is available on January 1 each year, and the priority deadline for completing it is March 2. You complete the FAFSA online at fafsa.ed.gov. Read more about applying for aid, including information on how to apply for a Cal Grant if you are a California resident.
