Outside Scholarship Resources
The Financial Aid Office does not maintain a central library or web site for outside scholarship searches. The following sites may be able to help you with your scholarship search.
The California Alumni Association offers scholarships for entering and continuing Berkeley undergraduate students.
The SAGE Scholars Program provides leadership and career-development training through internships, tuition assistance, mentoring, and education for current UC Berkeley undergraduates with financial need and high academic achievement.
The College Board Scholarship Search - After completing a brief questionnaire this scholarship search will find potential opportunities from their database of more than 2,300 sources of college funding.
Financial Aid and Scholarship Wizard is the federal government's scholarship search section of "Student Aid on the Web."
Finaid.Org has helpful information on how to look for scholarships, how to increase your chances for winning a scholarship and how to avoid scholarship scams.
Scholarship Connection provides a clearinghouse for information on externally funded scholarships for Berkeley students only.
Parents and students should be wary of scholarship scams on the internet. Beware of sites or services that charge a hefty fee to locate scholarships or that guarantee grants that seem too good to be true.
