• March 2 FAFSA deadline and Cal Grant GPA verification form is due
• Begin summer session financial aid information and estimator

• Summer session offer letter available
• April 18- Cal Day
• Financial Aid Notification letters to new freshmen students begin to be mailed out and appear on Bear Facts
• Some students are selected for the income verification process
  May 2009
  
• New freshman admits Statement of Intent to Register due on May 1, 2009.
• Financial Aid Notification letters to new entering transfer students begin to be mailed out and appear on Bear Facts
  June 2009
  
• Cal Student Orientation programs begin (CalSO)
  July 2009
• Late July - Budget Appeal available to submit
• Late July - Fees are assessed and first CARS statement is produced
  
• August 2009
• August 15- Fall registration fees are due
• August 22- First CARS refund available for students eligible for a refund
• August 23 Move-in Day at the Residence Halls
• August 26- First day of instruction
  September 2009
  
• September 25, 5th week of enrollment review. Students must be enrolled full time or lose all or part of their Pell Grant, Cal Grant B Acess, ACG, and/or Smart Grant
