The Student Budget represents the average amounts paid by UC students in various housing situations. The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office updates these figures annually through student surveys and other research. The Student Budget is a major factor in setting the amount of financial aid you may receive; your budget is based on the housing option you selected on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) until your housing status is confirmed by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office. The Student Budget is subject to change. These amounts are the most recent estimates available as of March 28, 2013.
