It's Time to Complete Your 2013-14 FAFSA
Both new and returning students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for academic year 2013-14 to be considered for financial aid awards. We encourage you to complete your FAFSA for 2013-14 as soon as possible.
Complete the form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. UC Berkeley's federal school code is 001312. Please note that if you use estimated tax information on your FAFSA, you will receive a conditional financial aid offer, and you cannot receive an official financial aid offer and awards until you update your FAFSA tax filing status from estimated to actual.
For help with the FAFSA, watch "7 Easy Steps to the FAFSA," a video tutorial on how to complete the FAFSA application. For more FAFSA tips, read "Mistakes to Avoid When Applying for Student Aid" and "FAFSA Tips for Applicants in Unique Situations." For questions about the FAFSA, see www.fafsa.ed.gov/contact.htm and www.fafsa.ed.gov/help.htm. You can also follow @FAFSA on Twitter for the latest FAFSA information and financial aid tips.
The FAFSA website is also available in Spanish. For the Spanish-language version, please see www.fafsa.ed.gov/es_ES/index.htm.
