International Students

Federal regulations and University policy severely limit the types of financial assistance available to international students. The UC Berkeley Financial Aid Office does not offer financial aid to international students.

The Graduate Division has information on their web site for international students, including a large section on financial support.

The Berkeley International Office (BIO) web site has information for international students who are considering attending Berkeley. After the first year of attendance at Berkeley there are some financial aid options available from the BIO office.

The Career Center has information for UC Berkeley international students who are looking for internships.
