Welcome to Educational Guidance Center
EGC joined the University in January, 1997. This outreach program has a rich, twenty-four year history of providing college advising to more than 2,500 secondary school students in East Bay schools. EGC also provides academic support services, career advising, motivational activities and skill-building workshops to current participants. EGC is a federally funded, United States Department of Education, TRIO-sponsored program, and targets its services to low-income, first generation college bound students.
