Welcome to the Community College Transfer Center

The Community College Transfer Center provides assistance to disadvantaged community college students interested in transferring to the Berkeley campus. Services include: college and academic advising; admissions, housing, and financial aid information; and special recruitment activities for 31 selected community colleges. APA staff offer detailed in-service training opportunities to community college counselors and special services personnel, as well as assistance in coordinating campus visits for selected students.

CCTC Services

The Community College Transfer Center provides the following services:

Transfer Workshops
Individual college and academic advising, transcript evaluation
Admissions application, housing, and financial aid information
Follow-up assistance and support
Campus visits
In-service training for community college counselors and personnel on admissions and articulation policies and procedures
Applicant status reports

Participants

Recruitment services are directed at transfer students from selected community colleges in California.
